Fom my experience, I would not believe the miles. The odometer has the tell-tale signs of being tampered with.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are the tell-tale signs in the picture that the odometer has been messed with? Why would someone fake 88K miles?

I think Dick noticed that the 88's are not lined up correctly. My guess would be that the number may have rolled over to 08, 18, 28, or somewhere else over 100K miles. Ever notice just how many of these cars have miles under 100k miles? Seems like all of them.
