Upper & Lowrer A-Arm Rebuild or New???

My upper and lower a arm need new rubber and I should replace the ball joints. Everything is original from 71. Is it easier and cheaper just to buy a whole new unit to install and have them rebuilt. If you have them rebuilt can some recommend where to get it done and approximate cost compared to buying the new ones. I don't have all the equipment to compress the rubber bushing,. etc into the ones. It's either rebuild or replace the entire unit--front only--the rear suspension I have already had rebuild. Thanks Paul

Try Bair's to rebuild them. Looks like $750 for, shot blast, new bushing, new riveted ball joints, new paint. There is a pictorial of what they do on their site.

      Always recommend re-building original parts.
Aside from the "Purist Satisfaction" thing, you know what you have, correct configuration and they fit properly.

Paul, there's one other option for those of us that are addicted to new old stock parts. They are very hard to find, but, can be found. I found this set after a year long search. I know, I know,...........I'm addicted...... to NOS.
        Good luck, Ridge.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .
