Hey Don,
I expect that they would. The wheels are 15x6 American Racing Torque Thrust D. They are fitted with the Pirelli P4000 Supertouring 215 70ZR15 tires. They are mounted on my 66 roadster which has no modifications to the body or the suspension. The best part is that I have no rubbing.

It is a great vintage look and the tires are just an absolute kick to drive. I can't believe the difference. It's a different (and much better) car with these tires.

I also did some archive research on alternate tire size of 215/65 15 and the spec' on the Dia. is .2 smaller and has the same section width?

Any other tires sizes that I should look at? ,or shall I stick with the Pirelli 205/70/15

Bill - give strong consideration to the 215/70/15 size for the Pirelli's. They should fit well on your car and with all those ponies under the hood you need as much rubber on the ground as you can get!

I'm jealous of all of that power. Have a great time on your trip! You will LOVE it.

Terry, I would love meeting you, and the whole road trip gang, I only wish I could go along, as I am driving to the national convention, but due to plans my wife has, we will be going a different route out there.
