I'm hoping someone out there can help. I'm having a difficult time trying to discern how a proper 1965 327/350 non-air engine bay should appear. Can anyone with a correct 1965 327/350 setup post pictures of their bay here? Ideally, the photos would show the engine from both the left and right-hand sides, the front, and if it's not too big of an ask... one with the air cleaner removed to get a good view of the carb setup.
If anyone knows of a set of existing images already on the forum that I missed please post the link. Unfortunately, my car lacks it's original VIN tag and the numbers were ground off elsewhere making my restoration task more of an ordeal as every time I go to order a part they want to know the VIN to make sure they're sending the correct part and every time I have to explain that she no longer has that very valuable piece of identification. Unlike the guy in the current Corvette Restorer, a previous owner of this Ray didn't try to have the original VIN reapplied...
Thanks in advance, you all really make restoring a Vette a less daunting and scary task.
