    Transmission Tunnel Attachment

    I'm considering glassing in the transmission tunnel replacement piece on my 57. A former owner did a ton of damage to that area and this seems to be a good way to strengthen it up (and get a good fit). Besides originality issues, will I have any other problems? The body is off the car and I will have the transmission installed before the body goes back on.

      you should have no problems, if you know how to repair with Fiberglass. IF any doubt...get your hands on Eckler's guide to Corvette Fiberglass Repair. Bt the way, their materials are excellent.
