serial # id on 67 m21

i just purchased a trans for my 66 and took note that the serial# was 7K106500 and was stameped in 3 locations. can any one tell me what car would have a serial number like this?

Our 67 Chevelle SS 396 Has a B stamp signifing Baltimore Build. Chevelles had addtional codes such as Atl= Atlanta Fra= Framingham Mass. K would be Kansas build. Amoung others. Calif plants etc. Could be a Kansas GM build trans. But not restricted to just Chevelles. But like the weather man I'm just guessing.

A '67 Chevelle, final assembly at Kansas City, Missouri. As the VIN is low, it would probably have been installed in a car produced around the middle of September 1966. This plant produced only Chevelles, (incl. El Camino) in this timeframe.
