Emergency brake cable/ Seat belt cable
On a 1971, does the emergency brake cable pass under or go above the seat belt cable ? I looked through the AIM and can't find anything on it. I took it off about a month ago and can't remember how it goes, it seems as though it would work fine either way, but what it correct.

It does help..Thank you..but
I do have another question..Is that factory ? The reason I ask is this. According to the AIM, the open side of the parking brake cable equalizer faces up, with the two adjustment nuts on the rear side of the equalizer so they can be tightened against each other to prevent loosening , not one in front and one in back. Has the one in the picture been put back incorrect ? Just an observation...Comment

Doug, the two adjustment/locking nuts go together on rear side of equalizer, according to two cars I have checked, Patricks equalizer is installed the same, open side down as pictured. SteveComment
