Guys, does anyone remember where the State of Ohio placed the inspection stickers on the windshields in 1967? Also was there a seperate registration sticker and if so where was that placed. Thanks

Re: Ohio Inspection Sticker
No registration sticker used in Ohio because new license plates were issued every year. I think the location for the Inspection sticker was lower corner of the windshield, however that too was optional, there is/was no state mandated Ohio inspection, it was voluntary in the 60's as I recall.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: Ohio Inspection Sticker
I remember my dad having these highway patrol stickers on his company cars. Lower windshield on driver's side. Always crooked, as the inspector always just reached in and slammed them on !! The inspections were usually randomly done at a specific place by the patrol on a given day. You'd be driving and the next thing you know, there would be an inspection station set up. They would check for lights and horn operation etc. They would issue a repair order to have any issues repaired within a certain time frame !
Kind of like a roadside operations check !Last edited by Tom H.; March 30, 2009, 12:58 PM.Tom Hendricks
