C2 front bumper measurement

I need someone to measure the distance between the rearmost point on a front bumper to the center of the nut on the bracket that fastens to the parking light panel. This measurement on one of my bumpers is 6 inches, the other is 6 1/2 inches. I believe both of my bumpers are GM but one dates to the early 80s and the other one dates to the early 70s. The bumper allignment is off and this discrepancy may be the reason. I don't want to send it to a plater without first confirming the fit of the bumpers to the body.

My original '64 bumpers measure 6" both LH and RH.

I just measured a 65, the left side measures 6 inches, the right side measures 6 1/2 inches. Is a 1/2 inch variation common?
