    Kevin...think it works like this:

    K = Kelsey Hayes (manufacturer)
    1 = Kelsey plant #
    1 or 2 digit stamp = year

    (valve stem hole)

    1 or 2 digit stamp = day

    AZ = type/size (AZ is 15" dia. X 8" wide)

    your numbers as follows:
    (19)76 Nov 16th
    (19)77 Aug 22nd
    (19)95 Sep 8th
    (19)73 Sep 20th

      Thanks Don! It was the (95) that I couldn't understand. The AZ's were used for what years?

        Yeah, think they stamped the '95s with the 2 digit code to dicern between '75s, '85s (don't know if 85s were stamped with 1 or 2 digit code) and '95s.

        Where are you in the DE valley? I grew up in Wilmington.

          These wheels sound like they will be perfect for my driver 72!

          I'm about two hours north of Wilmington, in Buckingham, Bucks County. We do have several members from DE!

          Thanks again Don,

          Kevin

            what are these YS wheels?

            and these YW wheels?

            They are not corvette wheels - so what are they from?

              YS= 69-70 Chevrolet "B" body w/disc brakes, replaces "DC",
              15x6 JK, .06 offset.

              YW=69-70 Chevelle Pass Rally w/DB, replaces "XB", 14x6 JJ, .88 offset.

                That can't be right? - they are all 15" wheels.
                I suspect they are later then 1970 wheels.
                one pair is 15X7 - the other pair is 15X8

                  Kevin -

                  The "AZ" 15x8 rally wheel was the standard wheel on Corvettes from 1969-1982.

                    Then I suspect his info may be incorrect. As far as my references go, the only 15x8 rallys through 75 were AZ's. He says the YS wheels are 15x7 and my references say 15x6. I don't see a Y in the pic of the "YW" wheel and I would suspect it may be an FW which is a 15x7 not 15x8. JMHO, who knows?

                      one pair is 15x7, the other is 15x6.
