Help needed.
I'm helping a good friend with his restoration of an early '59 fuelie.
What is this original ignition shielding top, correct for?
It is what I have commonly heard referred to as a "tall skirt" top.
Measures about 5 and 1.2 inches high.
Measures about 19 inches across at the bottom (base)
Measures about 16 inches across on top, from corner bend to corner bend.
Depth measures about 4 and 3/8ths inches wide, on the top, at the "distributor buldge".
Appears to be stainless steel, but a strong magnet will stick.
Does not appear to be flash chrome plated.
Applications?
Thanks in advance for any help. Ridge
