    You might check the U69 section of the AIM for that. I think it might give you the info you are looking for.

      My 70 has a thick cable from the engine block attached to the starter brace bolt and connected with bolt and nut to motor mount frame support. Another thinner ground wire from the wiring harness to starter bolt.

        Jim is describing it properly. It should show up in the AIM in the electrical section. I can't recall the UPC 12 maybe. It is not in the U69 section as that is for radio pieces and the ground that essentially jumpers around the rubber in the passenger side engine mount is there on ALL Corvettes.

            Make sure that both ends of this cable have perfect electrical contact. That means making sure that the cable ends are completely free of paint, dirt, oil, oxidation etc. And make sure the frame and block where the cable ends attach are the same. Use the external tooth star washers as were originally used and as indicated in the AIM. If you don't get this right you might be dealing with all sorts of electrical frustrations later-on.
