    1967 blue interior

I am doing a 67 marina with bright blue interior car. I got the blue dye/paint from Al Knoch to paint the dash and other interior components and I'm not sure it looks just right. Has anyone else used Al's interior blue paint? Has anyone used anything else and it has been correct for judging?

    Thanks

I have used the dye from Long Island Corvette Supply and have always been happy. Cars have Top Flighted with no deducts for the dash and intereior trim. Good Luck

Depending on one's interpretation of blue (excluding all "teal"), I'd suggest there may be THREE Corvette interior shades/glosses [bright blue, medium bright blue and dark bright blue ].

This table from Chevrolet Service News fall 1966 (for the new '67 models).

agreed, I was only able to find 2 of the colors in a rattle can. Always curious which part received the 3rd color? Mr. Womble might know?

OK guys, we need some clarification.
            1. There was only one shade (intended) of Bright Blue.
            2. There were two all Blue interior color choices. All distincively different and not mixed or matched (Obviously, there may be some shade variance between components).
RPO Code 414, Medium Bright Blue (Like Marina)
RPO Code 418, Dark Blue (Teal, like Lynndale)
I am not counting the combo...
RPO Code 450, MBB (Dash)/White (Seats)
            Hope this helps,
            HaND

              Great pic, Wayne.
I suspect the differences in the formuli for the same color are gloss related (or lack of it).

I think the two bright blues with 3 and 60 % gloss are essentially the same color, but the dark bright blue is a different color. Certainly there are several different shades of blue in a 67 bright blue interior. It appears that the dark bright blue is the color that is used on those dash parts that are subject to glare. Unfortunately it is difficult to get a true representation of the blue color. It just don't translate to this screen very well. Here are a couple that are pretty good. Note that the dash pad itself has a more greenish tint.
