68 Exhaust Clamps

The AIM shows guillotine style clamps on the tailpipe extensions as well as the muffler inlet. Is this correct?

I saw this thread earlier in the month. Excellent discussion on this subject including the differences between 68 & 69 clamps.

I will admit up front that reading comprehension is NOT my strong suit.

I don't see the differences between 1968 and 1969 exhaust system clamps in that linked thread. Especially in light of posts #4 and #6. Can someone clarify that point for me?

Terry, Originally I thought it had to do with the raised letter on the U bolt, K or W. Now that you mention it, and after reading it again, I don't think there is a difference. Give yourself more credit...

I am always open to learning something new. And there might be something to your K or W thought. More to look at on the car.
