Scott, the back of the Owner's Manual should have two very distinct lines across the back. This one does not appear to have but one. Some of the items look way toooo nice for originals. JMTCW, Gary....

I have a hard time calling the manual a "1953 Manual." Few if any 53s came with that manual - most or all of the 53s had the pictureless booklet instead. Like this one:



All 54s came with the orange covered manual. Thus, the manual (whether original or reprint) is not really a 53 manual. And a second edition would without doubt be a 54 Manual.

The seller also has a 1959 Corvette operations manual second edition for only $599.00. At that price I would hope shipping would be free, he's charging $2.00, what a deal...
Also only has 1 picture of the item.
