    Intake manifold bolt headmarks ... 64 327/300

The JG says "UR", "TR", "M", or "AP" are acceptable. I have a mixture of "AP" and "TR" bolts (mostly AP). For judging purposes should all of the bolts on one engine have the same markings or is a mixture of markings possible on the same engine? Thanks in advance. Jim

Jim, My 67 327/300 has NAT bolts and they are all the same. My 63 has AP bolts and they are all the same. In my opinion AP would be more period correct for your car.

Shouldn't matter - regardless of headmark, they were all the same part number at the engine plant, they were mixed in the bins, and the bins were stocked by part number, not by headmark. Nobody on the line cared or paid any attention to headmarks.

I guess that would account for the different head markings. Sounds like any combination could be correct. Thanks guys.
