C1 687 Big brake finishes?

We're going through the front end of our '60 fuelie with big brakes and have a question about component color. The screened brake backing plates are painted black on the inboard side but are a sort of olive green on the outboard, brake drum side. We think this may be original as the car has only 37K miles on it and was in collections most of its life. Is this green/black combination correct and, if so, where can you get a similar green paint?
