    C-2 Tire Size

    What's the best size modern radial tire for a 1965 with stock 5 1/2" steel wheels? Just looking for best all around performance in ride, fit and no rubbing. Rich

      If you check the archives there have been many threads on this subject. I have 205 75 15 on my 63 and there are no clearance problems. There are very few tires choices out there for the 205. None of them have good speed ratings. Some members have suggested 215 70 15 tires but watch out for the front tires hitting at hard cornering.
      I believe Duke recommended a specific tire I'm sure you can find it if you search.
