Where could I purchase the triangle aluminum tag for my AFB carburator. I called Long Island but they said they didnt have one for my build date . Does anyone make them ? Thanks

I tried to find such an animal about a year ago w/o success, even though several vendors listed them as available.
To be honest with you, I don't recall ever having one on my original 3461S carb of my 63 Corvette that I bought new. It makes sense that Carter would use one as they did on the WCFB's in years preceding the AFB's. On that basis, I went looking for one too. However, every rebuilt carb I have seen of that model and most 3720S and 3721S models I've seen did not have one either. I do have one on my service replacement 3721SB. Most of the necessary date data is already stamped on the body, the tag seems to only have additional inspection data.
