Has anyone found a source for the correct width, or within 1/16", for a whitewall radial tire to fit a 62? I've checked all the usual places and can't locate any. My tires are 16 years old and although the car is always garaged, I have some concern the tires should be replaced due to age only. Less than 3000 miles on them.

They'll put any width whitewall you want at any distance from the bead that you want; all brand-new brand-name radial tires made in modern high-volume tire plants.

Thanks. Technical judging guide says 7/8 to 1 1/16 width, but what was the distance from the bead?Comment
