On page 130 of the 67 judging manual it calls for unpainted small block radiator shrouds and painted big block shrouds. Is this correct? If so why the difference?

Yes, Charles, that is correct.
Earlier shrouds through '65 were metal, painted black for obvious reasons.
Both SB & BB Fiberglas shrouds continued the process and were painted black in '66.
SB's dropped the painting in '67, Black glass, one of the accounting guys probably figured, why bother.
The real puzzle is why they continued to paint the BB's.
Maybe one of the GM guys would know for sure.

I concur. When I took apart my almost completely original 67 327/350, it had a black fiberglass (unpainted) fan shroud.Chris Enstrom
