I was wondering if antone has any isight as to the repair of the braket on the left of the top by the door the rivets have broken and need replacement it looks like it may be a nightmare anyone been there done that thanks as always Steve

Not that tough. Remove the stainless windsplit piece in the center rear. Then take the barrel nuts off from the inside of the car on the entire left lower trim piece that extends from the door to that windsplit. Peel the weatherstrip back, and you have access to that area where the rivets go.
Toughest part of the whole thing is if you have a top that's seen the elements a lot---if so, some times the barrell nuts take with the the studs that are on the metal backing plate behind the long stainless piece. If that happens, you have to be creative and JB weld studs of the right length and thread pitch into the right spot on the stainless.
