Any KC or STL Regional Meets planned?

I live in extreme SW Missouri, and want to get my Zr-1 Judged soon. The closest thing I see is Kileen Texas. Anything closer planned in the near future?? I dont have a trailer, and driving on the original tires (hard as hockey pucks) is not something I want to trust on a long drive.

Anything planned for KC or STL, or even like Tulsa???

The back page of Driveline lists all regionals and conventions that have been approved by the board. It presently lists regionals through 2010 and 2011 for conventions. 2011 regional meets will be voted upon soon.

Go to the calendar page to see the judging meets. I believe the May judging meet is already full, there will be another one in September. Also, the KC and STL chapters applied to have a regional in Joplin. I don't know what year that was for 2009, 2010 or what. I don't know if the NCRS accepted the bid either. Go to the contacts page, Mark Markel is the STL judging chairman. I would think the KC folks would have a web page too.

Joe, I believe that is for 2011 which will be voted on in about 10 days.

Love to see one in Joplin. My old beater would probably make the 70 mile trip. Now that I say that, 47 year old parts will start falling off in the road.

Have a lot of fond memories of Regionals in Joplin. I, for one, would like to see another one held there. Long trip for me, but worth it.

Even though it was a long drive for you, we have fond memories of you at our Regional. We always enjoyed seeing your smiling face and the support you provided us was invaluable. I too miss the Joplin event and would like to see it come back. There has been some talk (minor in nature) in our Chapter about trying it one more time - we'll have to wait and see.

Joe, are you only interested in a Regional? The Kansas City Chapter is contemplating a 2 Day chapter meet in September, not finalized yet, but we're looking at the 19th and 20th as possible dates. we're also updating our website, so it is not current yet. Our contact Chairman is in the Driveline and Brian Neher is our Judging Chairman, or send me a reply if you are interested.

I should have made myself more clear. I was letting Ron know that the Joplin regional in 2011 had been approved.
