Larry, had a little more time today, so took a picture of driver's side front. You can see the forming of the wrapping of the ribs on this one. It too is the original part, however new paint.

I have 2 sets of moldings and would like help identifying the correct ones for a 1964 Roadster. One set has 2 ribs with 3 black insets. The other has 9 ribs with 8 insets (no paint). Thanks.

Thanks Don. Any idea what the other set might be for?

Sounds like they are 63 moldings.. 8 ribs below the spear, and 8 painted indents.
            Someone removed the black paint?

Ron - most of the pics in this thread are 64. The pics from Alan Drake show the correct coined ends where the grooves do not continue into the end area. Most of the earlier pics in the thread are repos. For rib count and differences from year to year why don't you try looking at Corvette Central on any other vendor.
