Dealer codes

When we bought our 69 coupe the seller told us Al Grenning identified it as a Brass Hat car. Dealer code is 530, zone # is 00. When I used the NCRS dealer code tool it listed Don Scott Chevrolet in Whitehorse Ohio which apparently is now Yark Chevrolet. Can anyone shed light on the mystery? I'll contact Al but thought someone may have some info.

pliot error, the dealer code (530) that corresponds to Dn Scot Chev is in zone S 28. My zone is 00. Can anyone confirm zone 00 is an internal GM code and that 530 in zone 00 is GM Engineering?
