    Does anyone make a correct repro gas cap for a 1970?

      Not that I am aware of. In fact, as far as I am aware, the only 63-74 fuel caps on the market currently are those available from GM. These include a cap for 63-69 (but only more-or-less correct for 69) and the cap available for 70-74 (but only more-or-less correct for L71-74). The Corvette supply vendors may sell these as "reproductions" but they are not really "reproductions", per se. Stant manufactures both of these caps for GM as they always have.
