I agree, that is why I'm going to start pulling the engine this evening and take the short block over to the machine shop that machined, balanced and degreed the cam in last February. I'll post the results hopefully by the beginning of next week. Thank you...

Hello,

It turned out that the pickup tube on the oil pump had worked itself loose so once a new pump and screen were installed I was good to go! Also, the machine shop tac welded the pickup on so it should be smooth sailing from this point on.
