62 Seatbelt install configuration

Just a quick refresher here. What is the judging opinion of the male/female installation on 62 Corvettes. The judging guide states that the AIM is wrong and original cars have been seen with the Female buckles mounted inboard.

Is that still the Judges opinion of the installation? (Female buckles inboard)

Yes, most orig cars were female inboard.

I have owned 1962 #13078, built June 22, 1962, since April 1965. The seat belts are installed with the buckles inboard. Larry

Thanks Guys! I didn't want to have to take these seats out later to swap them. That is how they were when I took them out but sometimes the AIM makes you overthink things.
