Front Cross Member Bolt Markings 1968-72

I bought a set of 8 bolts from Corvette Central "front cross member Bolts" that attach the cross member by the front bumper to the frame extension brackets and the brackets that connect to the bumper guard. Two questions:
    1. The kit had 8 bolts and there seem to be 12 bolts in the cross member.
    2. The bolts they sent have a "A" on the head--the bolts I have in the car now--which I assume are original have an "M" on them.

    Which is correct??????

    Thanks Paul

    Paul,

Both A and M are correct for 68-72 "bat wings". But the reproduction A head is different from the original A. It is a great reproduction. but not 100% correct.
