1969 L46 correct paint colors?

I am finishing up a total frame up resto on my 69 roadster (i've had this car since senior year high school 1978) I am trying to keep to original as much as is reasonable for me to do. I have been keeping all of the correct nuts bolts ect that I can and have glass beaded them all. My question is how to finish them. I have been trying to locate some type of guide that would tell me location by location what the approperiate color and finish for bolts and hardware shoudl be. Does such a guide exist? And I suppose secondly how much does it really matter if I were to choose to paint bolts black instead of them being natural zink or whatever? As you can imagine most of the parts were in less than optimal condition.
