C-1 wiper cable

I have had a request from a friend on the procedure for tightening the wiper cables on a 1960. I have never worked on the wiper cable system. Would anyone have any information on how to tighten, repair or replace the cable system?

Noland Adam's '53-'62 Restoration Guide has an article covering this at the end of the '56-'57 section. If you don't have access to it, I can attempt to scan it and email to you (computer illiteracy rate is pretty high here). Send me an email if you need it.

Thanks for the replies! I have a copy of Noland's book, so I will check the 56-67 section. Gary, I always research the archives prior to posting a question, but did not get the information I needed. I might need to enter different criteria.

I scanned the information from Noland's book and forwarded all the information to the person in need. I also set up a wiper file in my C-1 restoration file and saved a copy. Great information!
