Early '58 Passenger Splash Pan Mounting

On the early (January) 58 that I am working on, the passenger splash pan is mounted with 2 lower bolts into the frame. Both bolts (forward and rear) are into the side of the frame vs. the later mounting of rearward into the side and forward up through the bottom of the frame.

The original frame shows no evidence of any previous hole in the frame bottom. Does anyone have an original early 58 and can take a photo of the frame fastening on the passenger side?
