Barry Grant carbs have a reputation for drag racing and winning. Don't think those carbs would help one get a Top Flight!

Definately good stuff. We used his carbs for years on late model stocks. Unfortunately ruled dicatated that a "Stock" Holley 500cfm 2 barrell carb was mandated for our division and had to maintain "stock appearence".

Why not sent your origional carb for a re-work? There are many things that can be done to enhance performance without altering the stock look and you still may get the Top Flight. Just hold on to your wallet!! Those "Under Cover" mods get expensive. We had well over a grand invested in a $150 2 barrell!

Most of the posts I see on other forums about BG carbs are complaints about machining chips/debris in the float bowls, metering blocks, and main bodies in brand-new out-of-the box carburetors. Once they're disassembled and cleaned, they apparently work fine.
