Ok guys, just cleaned up my original AC fuel pump. Just thought I'd share some observations about the differences between the repop and the original.
1. Lots of variances between the shape of the main housing and the repop.
2. The bottom bowl is crimped onto the top housing with a different shape.
3. No "AC" logo (obviously)
4. The seam along the top of the pump is much more pronounced on the repop than on the original.
5. Compared to the Paragon original, there are a different number of holes on the one side. (see link for a picture of the Paragon unit). I'm not sure if anyone has had a Paragon unit on their can and had it judged or not.

Oh, and here's what mine looked like to start with. Just a LITTLE greasy.....cleaned up pretty nice though (90 minutes later).
A couple of questions though. Looking at the part number on my pump, I'm confused. The TIM/JG says that it should be part number 6440433, yet my pump reads FF40433.
Second, any guesses as to what the marks are on the bottom of the pump? One looks like it MIGHT be a 7, not sure about the other one though. Might just be a gouge in the pump and not a stamp mark. The TIM/JG mentions no date coding on the pump.
