A plastic emergency key was part of the ZR1 package in 1990. Was an emergency key also supplied for regular coupes and convertibles?

Yes, the emergency keys were used with standard Corvettes as well. The plastic keys didn't work well and they were later changed over to a metal key and used at least through 95. i don't recall seeing them in 96. Here's a 95 version.

Thanks for the clarification on which models had the key. I understand that there was a set of instructions that came with the key. Have you seen that?

Seems there was a letter that came with the key. I can't recall for certain, but I believe these keys came to the owner in the mail after the purchase. Let me look through my ZR1 stuff and see if I can dig a letter up.
