The weather finally broke for the first cruise of '09. It's been a long cold winter, but Corvette season is officially open!

Re: Out Of Hibernation - Finally!
Must be nice.
Raining here, but still enough salt on the roads that I wouldn't even think of driving the Corvettes yet.

Re: Out Of Hibernation - Finally!
Hi Donald, Lucky You!
You must live in the salt-free Southern tip of Indiana.
Snow predicted here Sunday and again next week.
It takes three of four good heavy rain showers to wash the salt away, so,
we are probably two months away from that "Rejuvenating Experience"
Enjoy! and HaND- Top

Same here.
It's usually the last weekend of April that I target to drive the Corvettes for the first time. Only once in almost 13 years of living back in MI have I gotten them out before that.

Re: Out Of Hibernation - Finally!
We are not out of hibernation here, just south of Boston, MA. We still have snow on our lawns. However it is 60 degrees here today. Corvette season is getting close, though. When the salt and sand are off the roads, that will be the season. ???60 days.

Re: Out Of Hibernation - Finally!
Drove mine yesterday here in Bloomington, IL. 'Twas nice enough to put the top down in the afternoon and let the wind blow through my hair (what is left of it anyway). Even got a chance today to make a run to Home Depot with the top down but now the rains have started. Hope to get it out again soon. This has been one nasty, long winter! :-(

Re: Out Of Hibernation - Finally!
Will be at least 6 weeks before my '76 is back on the road for '09. Snow's melting here in Toronto but spring is at least a month away in my estimate.

Then again, if it goes National I may not have a choice.
