black ground wire at wiper motor

For 1970 (and probably others) cars without AC, there is a black ground wire attached to the ww motor that originates from the heater fan motor. Does anyone knoow where this wire would originate from for an ac car? Steve

    Steve,

That black ground wire does not originate from the heater blower motor. It originates from a mounting bolt on the starter motor, goes to the blower motor and then to the wiper motor.

Doesn't matter if it has AC or not.

Thanks JR. Does that mean it would be part of the engine harness? Steve
