C1 Trunk Liner

Hi -

I run with Corvette Centrals Radial tires on my 59 - and because they are wider than the stock tires - I carry the spare on top of the spare tire recess in the trunk. I want to fit a trunk liner to cover the deck lid springs and am trying to find out whether fitting a cover will push the spare tire too far forward to close the trunk. Help? Thanks - Mark

Not a problem at all. Tire plywood and mat could slightly rub against trunk divider panel, but that all you have to worry about.
