    I don't think that is quite true regarding the M22. Its application is more restrictive than you suggest. In 1970 and1972 the M22 was available from the factory ONLY as part of the ZR-1 package. For 1971 the M22 was available in the ZR1, ZR2 and LS6. There is some evidence, not very strong, that the M22 was available outside those packages for 1971, but for 1970 and 1972 the only way you got an M22 from St Louis was as part of the ZR1 package. The numbers of those packages are rather low.
