Windshield Delamination

In one cornor of my midyears date coded windshield its starting to turn white . I was told its the laminate on the windshield sperating . Is there anyway to get rid of the white cloudy look or is replacing the windshield the only option ? Thanks

You might want to try something that I've been wondering about for some time. If you've got a windshield manufacturer near you, stop by and ask them if they would be willing to run yours through thier autoclave with one of thier regular batches. Of course you would have to indemnify them, but this would fix it. They may have some reservations because of the compounds in the plastic and the lead in the glass, but it would be worth a try. Please let us know if you find a company that will do this.
