I just purchased a 1962 that came up from San Diego 5 years ago and it had a B.F. Goodrich Commander 220 in the well still with a sticker adhered on the tread. The jack had a F 4 on the base. Are these correct?

Re: 1962 spare tire and jack
Mike:
I'd say no.
The B.F.Goodrich tire would have been a "Silvertown" with a WW (if applicable) width of between 7/8" - 1-1/16"
The Jack would have a large "A" stamping on the top side of the base, with other distinguishing characteristics because it was a "one year only jack", along with a "one year only" jack handle.

Re: 1962 spare tire and jack
OK. The spare is a blackwall and the date suggests 1963 production. I'll look for an A on the base of the jack but it sounds like this is wrong also.
