So many '55 owners tossed the ignition shielding! Just put mine on, what a pain. Biggest issue: short plug wires.Reproduction,go figure...

Michael-- Yes I know it would be nice to have another inch on each of the wires. I sent Roy some pictures of my motor recently and he emailed back that one of my plug wires was almost out and too tight.-- oh well--
I thought that you car was about finished. Do you have much left to do. -

If you position the Dist clock wise one more tooth it may help. I see guys position the Dist to much counter clock wise. This is my engine area

I'm done other than the aftermarket top upholstery... I'm going to try to get a 1/2" more on #2 wire from below and call it good. I don't have a soft top or side curtains yet... Still looking for those. Now I'm just enjoying driving it!
