Seat Belt Repair

ALL,
enclosed is a picture of my passenger side seat belt assembly. When I purchased the car the stitching was undone on the lap belt/shoulder belt buckle, it is the lap belt that is not connected. I removed the assembly and found a coil spring was also unwound. My questions are. Can this be repaired, since I eventually wanted to restore the assembly would it be cheaper in the long run just to have the work done now? Who would you recommend do this? What cost am I looking at, and is it cheaper to do the pair at one time? The driver side is functioning just fine.

They can be fixed. If it were mine. I'd call Charlie Santorelli at Seatbelt Sity . He did the belts for my 63 and I was well satisfied. The material on the lap belt will need to be replaced if you need to shorten it to restich it only 26" waist people will be able to buckle it.
