    C2&3 Driveshafts

How do you ID an automatic vs 4 speed drive shaft? Is there a difference? Is there any changes through model years?

    Thanks,

    Greg

mid year 63 -67 all drive shafts were the same bb or sb, auto or manual
68 69 70 manual also used the same. 68 thru 72 auto went to a 2 1/4 '' shaft and the length is a little shorter that also applies to 71 72 manual

Any idea on the difference in lenght? I have one that's 30 3/4 long end to end.

All midyear driveshafts are 29-7/8" center-to-center.
