Which red tag goes on a January 1971 built 71 LT-1. Use Limited Slip Diff Lubricant Only OR Use Positraction Diff Lube Only???? Which one???

March & April built '71's have the 'Use Limited Slip' verbage.

Be careful -- it may have to do more with the ratio than with the build date. I'm not sure, either way, but check BOTH the date and ratio if you want to sort it out.

Hi Paul,
My Jan 71 built #6589, has a 3:36 ratio and has a tag with the 'limited slip' wording. It's quite dark red and the lettering width is VERY thin.
