Anyone using or have used the new Edelbrock Classic IAS shocks. My T.F. car already took point deduction with my replacement GM Delco and its time for their replacement. I drive my TF 66 in summer only and is not a trailer queen.Has anyone used these Edelbrock classic IAS shocks, and removed the factory rubber boot, painted them correct grey, etc to minimize the point deduction. I'm told these shock provide a very nice firm handling ride especially carrying this 680LB engine. Thoughts pls.....

Re: Edelbrock Shocks - 66 BB car
I have them on my '69 427 driver and a set of the delcos (made in mexico) from paragon sitting in the garage. Mine has not been judged but I expect 0 points for the shocks. That said, they offer a great ride and were recommended by a local vette repair and restoration guy who owns 5 or 6 big block cars- Top

Keith,
I have them on my wife's 70 Cutlass and absolutely love them. They made a huge difference in the ride of the car.
I think they actually make them in both red and gray. I've been tempted to buy a set in gray for Dad's 72 but haven't done that yet.
