66 General Discussion Sidepipe Bodies

I have been talking with several people about St Louis being the only producer of big block, sidepipe bodies. Several of them have told me that the fact was true for 67 Corvettes not for 66 models. That AO Smith did make big block, sidepipe bodies in 1966. Can anyone shed more light on this subject.

Big Blocks were installed in A. O. Smith bodies in '66, not in '67.
A. O. Smith never had the tooling for sidepipes.
