    Broach Marks

    Anyone have pictures of broach marks on the stamp pad which are authentic for 1969 small block? There is very little evidence on this engine stamp pad of any marks. Possible horizontal markings which would be correct but do you typically expect to see a really visible broach marking?

      Brad - You'll probably get lots of info on this.

      One thing I think you'll find is that the broach marks will vary significantly in their appearance and depth (and therefore how easy they are to see) depending on how sharp the gang of broaches was on the day the particular engine was decked.
