I hope this multiple question post will not constitute abuse of the forum. I have attempted to do "due diligence" with my judging manual, AIM, and the Noland Adams Resto Guide. I am unable to find the answers to the following specific questions.
1. Two vacuum hoses are shown coming off the 3269S. One small one from the right rear of the air horn going somewhere on the right side of the engine. Also, one coming off the left rear carb stud going to a T also going I know not where. My distributor is mechanical advance, of course. (my 3269S has no hose outlet on the air horn)
2. How is the temp sensor lead routed after it leaves the firewall. I know it is clamped twice along the top of the right valve cover, but how exactly is it routed behind the engine and ign. shielding? (my lead is blue inside sheath)
3. Is the coolant tube routed from the radiator over or under the radiator inlet hose? I know that there are 2 pegs on the bottom of the radiator.
4. What holds the radiator in the support bracket besides the top mounting bolt. I would like to remove it and need to know what I will be getting into.
I have mainly referred to pages 366 and 367 in the Noland Adams Restoration Guide. I can see that one must take it with a grain of salt in that there are obvious contradictions and use of incorrect parts..i.e. worm gear hose clamps.
Thanks for any help you can give.
