    brake line

how do you replace brake line from master cylinder to rear block.
I have got it to the back in front of the trailing arm but
cant seem to get it up over the cross member.
can it be fed through from back to front
do you have to splice it or remove the body
the car is a 1965 roadster
    thanks

    Re: brake line

I assume you straightened the front bend a little and fed it through the frame and are now trying to figure out how to get it over the frame to the rear block? You will have to carefully PARTIALLY unbend the line until you can push it up and over. Then you'll have to restraighten and mate to the brass block. It's tight in there and you'll need strong hands. I just did it a while back and it takes a bit if jockeying to get the line to lay where you want it. One warning. If your bends are not in the correct location the line tends to be short. Good luck! It's not all that bad.

No on the stainless. It's very much more difficult to work with, and in my opinion is overkill.
